It is no accident, the City of Miamisburg has evolved into such a dynamic suburban community. Strategic, forward-thinking initiatives by city officials during the past two decades have resulted in significant growth and economic development activity, positioning Miamisburg as an ideal destination for the 21st century.

Ohio Magazine agreed with this assessment, when it named the city of Miamisburg one of the state's "Best Hometowns". The City of Miamisburg's Parks and Recreation Department has varied and diverse offerings of programs, events and services for all ages.

  • Light Industrial/Office - The Byers Road corridor has become a busy business corridor, with modern facilities, available acreage and convenient access to Interstates 75 and 675. Austin Business Park is currently located at the southern end of Byers Road and offers development sites with interstate visibility and great access. The Interstate-75 Austin Center interchange opened in 2010.
  • Retail/Restaurant - The City of Miamisburg can deliver a retail environment to suit most any needs. These include sites near the Dayton Mall area, along a busy thoroughfare in town and in a historic downtown business district.

The department offers a convenient "one-stop shop" approach, with planning and development, engineering, building inspection and code enforcement all located together within one dedicated office building at 20 East Central Avenue in downtown historic Miamisburg. This central location is the place to obtain all building, electric, fence, HVAC, engineering and sign permits.
