Public Information

The City of Miamisburg recognizes the right of the public to be informed about its operation and is committed to providing comprehensive information, both proactively and by request through the news media. The public information office coordinates a variety of communication efforts on behalf of the city. To mass distribute information to the community, the city uses accepted methods, including, but not limited to:

• Newspapers
• Television and radio news media
• Government access cable television (programming information available at http://www.mvcc.net)
• Quarterly Civic Focus newsletter and other publications
• Internet (website and social media)

Since 1998, the City of Miamisburg communication projects has been recognized for excellence five times in national competitions by the City-County Communications and Marketing Association. Award winners have included publications and cable television programming.
