The City hangs over-the-street informational banners at three high-traffic locations: Central Avenue near Twelfth Street, Heincke Road near Central and N. Main Street near Sycamore Street. Community groups wishing to utilize these visible locations to promote an upcoming event, should put their request in writing to the City Manager’s Office at least two weeks in advance of the desired display dates. Requests are approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Groups are responsible for making their own banner per City specifications, while the City provides installation.
