Lead Service Line Replacement
Lead Service Line Replacement Program
The Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR) Program proactively removes public and private water service lines made of lead and galvanized steel. Galvanized water service lines can absorb lead particles. Replacement will prioritize historically underserved communities and take into account other city construction projects.
This program ensures The City of Miamisburg is proactively preventing potential lead exposure to our current and future customers by removing lead service lines from our distribution system.
The City of Miamisburg Water Department has been working hard to visually inspect all water pits in the city. We have inspected both public and private services, and you are able to see all of these services in map form, and in list form below. For any services that we found containing lead or galvanized material, we will be serving documentation to those residents with further instructions. You should receive documentation by the end of November 2024. If you have not received information by then, please contact Public Works at 937-847-6635
