How and where to file a commendation/complaint:

The Miamisburg Police Department accepts commendations and complaints in three ways:

In Person

To file a commendation or complaint in person, come to the Miamisburg Police Department at 10 N. First Street. If made during regular business hours, tell the records clerk you are there to file a commendation or complaint. If you arrive outside business hours, use the provided telephone outside the police lobby to contact the Regional Dispatch Center. Tell the dispatcher where you are and that you would like to speak with the patrol supervisor about filing an officer commendation or complaint. The on-duty sergeant or officer-in-charge will be dispatched to assist you as soon as they are available.

By Telephone

Contact the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center at (937) 225-4357. Tell the dispatcher you would like a call from a Miamisburg Police Department supervisor related to an officer commendation or complaint.

By Mail

You can also file a commendation or complaint by mail. Address all postal commendations or complaints to the Miamisburg Police Department, Attn: Chief of Police, 10 N. First Street, Miamisburg, OH 45342.
