Utility and Trash Rates Increase Next Year

Residents and businesses in the city will see an increase in water, sewer and trash rates in 2025.

The Miamisburg City Council held a first reading for an ordinance that would adjust water and sewer rates at the December 3 City Council meeting. The second reading and council vote are scheduled for the next meeting on December 17, 2024. City Council approved the trash rate increase at the same meeting.

The average resident will see their water bill increase about 70 cents a month, sewer rates would increase about 86 cents a month and trash rates will see an increase of by $1. The total for all three services will see an increase by $2.56 a month or $31 a year.
