We’re only a few days away from the total solar eclipse on April 8th. The influx of visitors to our area could lead to traffic delays and we urge you to make sure you have enough gasoline, medication and groceries in the days leading up to the eclipse. The video link below from the Miami Valley Fire District provides some more preparation tips for you and your family.
Additionally, Rumpke will start their routes at 2:00 am on this day, in order to beat any traffic and finish their scheduled routes. Residents are encouraged to place material at the curb the night before collection day. Rumpke will resume normal start times on Tuesday, April 9th.
