Last week, our Miamisburg Parks and Recreation staff attended the 2025 Ohio Parks and Recreation Association (OPRA) Conference & Trade Show conference in Sandusky, Ohio. They engaged in discussions with vendors,
exhibitors and professionals from across the state to enhance the programs, parks and services provided in Miamisburg. Ryan Davis, Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Director, Stephanie Sercu, Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Communications & Marketing Administrator and Jen Brandt, Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Recreation & Special Events Superintendent each led sessions at the conference.
In addition, the Miamisburg Parks and Recreation department received two state awards for the Riverfront Park Project: 2nd place for best community event for the Riverfront Park Grand Opening and 3rd place for best project, Capital Investment between $500,000 and $10 million for the Riverfront Park.
