On December 16, 2025, during the final City Council meeting of the year, Mayor Michelle Collins administered the oath of office to four council members. Beginning in January 2026, new members Jason Shade (Ward 1), Rick Melton (Ward 3), and Jeff Thompson (Ward 4) will join Sarah Thacker (Ward 2), who is starting her fifth term on the Miamisburg City Council.
All four council members will serve four-year terms ending December 31, 2029.
We also want to recognize retiring council members Mike McCabe (Ward 4), Tom Nicholas (Ward 3), and John Stalder (Ward 4). Thank you for your many years of dedicated service to the city.
