Hundreds of Miamisburg High School students, staff, members of the military, first responders and community members, joined together to complete a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in memory of all of those who lost their lives during the 9/11 attacks on September 11, 2001.
The 9/11 stair-climb event, now in its fourth year too place on Monday, September 9, 2024. For twenty minutes, attendees walked up and down the bleachers at Miamisburg High School’s Holland Field to honor the victims of 9/11. Those who walked received a card representing the victim for whom they were climbing. As they each left the stadium, they rang a bell and said the person’s name they climbed for today.
This week will be the 23rd anniversary of the deadliest terrorist attack in history, killing 2,996 people and injuring thousands more.
