The city of Miamisburg is offering the public a chance to meet the new Chief of Police.
Police Chief Mike Brem was hired last month and will be available to speak with the community on Friday, October 11 from 9-11 a.m. at the Miamisburg Community Center, 305 East Central Avenue.
Brem recently retired from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s office after 31 years. He recently served as a captain with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office assigned to Washington Township.
Brem is a native of Miamisburg. He graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1991 and attended Sinclair Community College majoring in Criminal Justice. He currently is working on a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Leadership from Liberty University. Brem replaces Police Chief John Sedlak who was hired as police chief in 2002.
Brem’s first official day will be Monday, October 14, 2024.
