Miamisburg, Ohio – Aug. 1, 2023: The City of Miamisburg is mailing a letter this week to all water and sewer customers about a change to its billing frequency. In response to preferences expressed by members of the community and the use of new meter technology, the City plans to move from quarterly billing to monthly billing.
The transition is scheduled to take place this fall. The letter will outline how that transition will occur and also provide information about how sprinkler meters and minimum-use customers will be affected.
“This is a request we’ve heard more and more frequently in recent years, and we’re pleased to implement it with City Council’s support,” Finance Director Jennifer Johns said. “There are a lot of moving parts in the changeover process, and we’ll appreciate the flexibility and patience of residents as it unfolds.”
