CodeRED Emergency Alert System

The City of Miamisburg uses CodeRED, an emergency alert system to quickly deliver important messages to targeted areas or the entire city to your phone. This high-speed messaging system can deliver customized emergency notifications and instructions at a rate of 60,000 calls per hour. This program can notify residents and businesses about weather alerts, boil water advisories, water main breaks, street closures and other important information.

Registering for CodeRED alerts is now easier than ever. Simply text “MIAMISBURGALERTS” to 99411 to receive a direct link to the enrollment form on your mobile device.

Residential landline telephones automatically receive CodeRED emergency messages, but Miamisburg businesses must register to receive these notifications.
