Miamisburg city offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19, to observe Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery. Regular city services and government functions will
be suspended for the day, but essential services will remain operational.
The Miamisburg Civic Center and other city offices will reopen on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 8 a.m.
Juneteenth is observed annually on June 19. In 2021, it was officially recognized as a federal holiday in the United States.
There will be no delay in trash and recycling service this week due to the Juneteenth holiday.
