Miamisburg, Ohio – May 24, 2022: The City of Miamisburg has again earned the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the year ended Dec. 31, 2020.
This award is presented by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada and is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting. Among the high standards for which the Report is judged is that it demonstrate a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.
Miamisburg has earned this certificate for nearly 30 consecutive years.
