The annual Turkey Trot returns to Historic Downtown Miamisburg on Thanksgiving Day. The race is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Riverfront Park,
located at 1 Water Street.
Participants can sign up for a 5-mile run/walk as well as a one-mile fun run/walk. Prior to the race, a costume contest will take place on the patio at Bennett’s Publical. Participants are encouraged to wear their finest Thanksgiving-themed costumes for a chance to win a prize and they may run/walk the race in their costumes. Judging will start at 8 a.m.
Additionally, street closures will begin at 6:30 a.m. and are expected to continue until approximately noon or until the conclusion of the race. All of downtown Miamisburg will be affected by these road closures. Traffic will not be permitted on the closed streets while pedestrians are present on the course.
